Renovation Project
We are finished with our renovation and expansion of the new library building at 124 Depot Road (pictured). We are pleased to be able to lease the building to the Town of Belgrade for $1. It is wonderful for the people of Belgrade to have a quiet, comfortable, and pleasant space to read, use computers, have children's story hour, etc.
We set a goal of $300,000 when we started raising funds for this project. We finally reached our goal in October 2012. Many thanks to all of our generous donors and hardworking volunteers! After the renovation and expansion were completed in November 2012, the Library Board of Trustees and Library Director designed and organized the space. The big move took place during December and the Library opened at it's new location on December 18th.
This was a wonderful community project and we can not thank our donors and volunteers nearly enough!
